“The world is traveling, moving away and the Hereafter is travelling, coming forward and both of them have sons. So be sons of the Hereafter and do not be sons of the world, for today is a time for action and not for reckoning, but tomorrow is a time for reckoning and not for action.” [Al Bukhari]

FOR THE MORNING

Morning Du`aa

“O Allaah, by your leave we have reached the morning and by Your leave we have reached the evening, by Your leave we live and die and unto You is our resurrection.” [At-Tirmithi & Abu Dawud, Sahih]

FOR THE EVENING
Evening Du`aa

“O Allaah, by Your leave we have reached the evening and by Your leave we have reached the morning, by Your leave we live and die and unto You is our return.” [At-Tirmithi & Abu Dawud, Sahih]

I love this one. It should be said 3 times:

Duaa 03

“O Allaah, what blessing I or any of Your creation have risen upon, is from You alone, without partner, so for You is all praise and unto You all thanks.”

… whoever says this in the morning has indeed offered his day’s thanks and whoever says this in the evening has indeed offered his night’s thanks. [Abu Dawud]

Another great one asking for health for your body, hearing and vision also to be said 3 times:

Du`aa 4

“O Allaah, grant my body health, O Allaah, grant my hearing health, O Allaah, grant my sight health. None has the right to be worshipped except You.” (three times)

“O Allaah, I take refuge with You from disbelief and poverty, and I take refuge with You from the punishment of the grave. None has the right to be worshipped except You.” (three times) [Ahmad]
